Tier 2 Practicum: In-Person Clinical Training

Tier 2 is our intensive, in-person clinical training — designed for licensed acupuncturists and advanced students ready to move from theory into hands-on technique. Working in a small, intimate cohort of no more than 8 practitioners, you'll train directly under Dr. Lydia Au, DACM, L.Ac., refining the precision and confidence needed to deliver real aesthetic results for your patients.

What you'll master:

Day 1 — Needling Technique
Begin with guided practice on a face mannequin to build foundational precision, then progress to live model practice with direct, hands-on supervision as you apply the full MLM™ needling protocol.

Day 2 — Manual Technique & Full Protocol Integration
Develop your gua sha and cupping technique, walk through the complete MLM™ treatment protocol from start to finish, and observe a full sample new-patient treatment — including intake procedures, required forms, and post-treatment follow-up communication.

The training closes with a live Q&A, giving you space to ask the questions that matter most for your own practice.

• The option to bring your own preferred needles, gua sha tools, or cups

Prerequisites:

• Completion of Tier 1 (didactic foundations) required prior to attending
• Licensed acupuncturist, or acupuncture student with a minimum of 500 hours of clinical training — facial acupuncture demands advanced technique, and this ensures every practitioner in the room is ready for it
